船用柴油機單缸排溫高的原因:
排氣閥漏氣或配氣正時不準確。
氣缸的存氣間隙過大或壓縮壓力偏低。
噴油角度過遲。
柴油機工作負荷過重。
排氣溫度表不準確。
船用主機大部分時間是在滿負荷情況下工作,有時在變負荷情況下運轉。船舶經常在顛簸中航行,所以船用柴油機應能在縱傾15°~25°和橫傾15°~35°的條件下可靠工作。大多數船舶採用增壓柴油機(見內燃機增壓),小功率非增壓柴油機僅用在小艇上。低速柴油機多數為二沖程機,中速柴油機多數為四沖程機,而高速柴油機則兩者皆有。船用二沖程柴油機的掃氣形式有迴流掃氣、氣口- 氣門式直流掃氣和對置活塞式氣口掃氣。大功率中、低速柴油機廣泛採用重油作為燃料,高速柴油機仍多用輕柴油。
